Energy Ltd
-
ISA was
engaged by
Woodside to
provide a
variety of
technical
and business
analyst
resources to
the Next
Generation
Desktop SOE
design
project. The
project is a
precursor to
the roll out
of the
organisation's
next
generation
of desktop
and aims to
demonstrate
the next
iteration of
the
corporate
SOE desktop,
including
Microsoft
Office
Professional
2007 and
Microsoft
Vista
Enterprise
Edition. Key
to the
project
continuance
is the
compatibility
of over 1300
line of
business
applications
and in
supporting
this process
the
Microsoft
Application
Compatibility
Toolkit was
used to
survey the
workstation
devices.
Department
of Premier
and Cabinet
-
ISA was
engaged by
the
Department
of Premier
and Cabinet
WA to
migrate the
messaging
infrastructure,
upgrade the
Active
Directory
and deliver
a new SOE
(including
Office
2007). This
high profile
project,
incorporating
Ministers,
Parliamentary
Electorate
Offices,
Parliament
House and
high level
groups
within DPC,
included the
migration of
the
messaging
application
from
GroupWise to
Exchange
2007
utilising
the Outlook
2007 client,
the upgrade
of Active
Directory
from Windows
2000 to
Windows
2003, the
roll out of
Office 2007
to all
desktops and
the adoption
of other
Microsoft
technologies
such as MOSS
2007 and
SCOM 2007.
Department
of Treasury
and Finance
- ISA was
engaged by
the
Department
of Treasury
and Finance
WA to
migrate the
messaging
infrastructure
to Microsoft
Exchange
2007. The
project
included the
migration of
the
messaging
application
to Exchange
2007 with
Outlook
client, the
implementation
of a Public
Key
Infrastructure
(PKI), the
implementation
of Outlook
Web Access
and
investigation
of Mobile
messaging,
the training
of technical
staff on the
day to day
running of
the solution
and the
implementation
of new
Disaster
Recovery
strategies.
Parliament
of WA
- ISA were
engaged by
Parliament
House to
assist with
the design
and
implementation
of a
solution to
decommission
the in place
Novell
Netware
environment
to move
completely
to Windows
Server and
Active
Directory.
Fremantle
Ports
- ISA were
engaged by
Fremantle
Ports to
upgrade the
Office
desktop
environment
from Office
XP to Office
2007. The
project
included the
roll out of
Office 2007
to all
desktops and
the
standardised
deployment
of other
Microsoft
desktop
applications
such as
Visio 2007
and Project
2007. The
project
began in
June 2007
and
concluded in
September
2008. The
project was
delivered
on-time and
on-budget.
